The Chargers netted two goals in the first half and controlled possession for most of the half. After numerous scoring chances off of penalty corners, Paige Veins (Middlebury, Vt.) netted the first goal on a reverse sweep in the 19th minute. Jordan Teixeira (Exeter, N.H.) assisted on the goal.

Nearly 10 minutes later, Colby-Sawyer made it 2-0 as Alie Jones (Cape Neddick, Mass.) took the ball off an AMCAT defender and shot it near-corner into the open net for her first collegiate tally.
