COLCHESTER, Vt. - November 5, 2016 - After a week off from competition, the Colby-Sawyer men's swimming & diving team returned to the pool at Saint Michael's College. The Purple Knights came away with 167-74 victory.
RESULTS
Josh Paszczuk led the Chargers with a pair of first place finishes on Saturday. He won the 50 and 200 backstroke events each by almost three seconds. He touched the wall in 27.35 in the 50 and 2:10.73 in the 200.
Brett Cayer collected a pair of second place finishes in the freestyle events. He clocked in at 23.52 in the 50 and was less than a second behind first in the 100.
Mason Amitrano finished second in the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:29.90.
Jameson Ploch was credited with a win in the 200 IM with a time of 2:27.77.
The 200 freestyle relay team also was credited with a victory. The team of Paszczuk, Amitrano, Cayer and
Chris Manwaring combined for a time of 1:38.76.
The Chargers will be back in action next Saturday with a meet at Elms.
