CHICOPEE, Mass. – November 12, 2016 – The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team competed at Elms College on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers fell to the Blazers, 132-89.
COMPLETE RESULTS
The Chargers were led by the 200 meter medley relay and the 200 meter freestyle relay teams. The teams consisted of
Josh Paszczuk,
Mason Amitrano,
Chris Manwaring and
Brett Cayer. The foursome earned first place finishes in the medley relay in a time of 2:05.03 and in the freestyle relay in a time of 1:48.41.
Amitrano also earned an individual first place finish in the 50 meter breaststroke. The junior finished in a time of 33.72.
Senior
Brett Cayer also earned an individual first place finish. Cayer earned the top time in the 100 meter freestyle in a time of 57.20.
Senior
Jameson Ploch placed first in the 100 meter IM in a time of 1:13.55.
The Chargers return to action Friday November 18
th when they travel to Potsdam, N.Y. for the North Country Invitational. The two day event begins Friday at 4:00 p.m.
