NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 9, 2016 – The Colby-Sawyer College women's soccer team defeated Lyndon, 11-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action on Sunday afternoon.
Colby-Sawyer improves to 3-8-1 overall and 2-2-1 in the NAC. The Chargers travel to Green Mountain on Wednesday. Lyndon falls to 2-9-1 and 0-6-1. The Hornets play at Thomas on Saturday.
The Chargers controlled possession from the opening whistle and scored six times in the first half before adding five in the second.
Senior
Rachel Quaye (Westminster, Mass.) scored the game's first goal off a feed from senior
Lizzie Jorgensen (Manchester, Vt.). The goal gave Quaye 21 for her career to rank her 10th on the all-time list. She also is now tied for ninth in career points with 51.
Jorgensen finished the afternoon with a pair of goals and the one assist. Freshman
Leah Dupuis (Concord, N.H.) notched her first collegiate tally and finished with two goals and an assist.
Junior
Erin Mulready (Rockland, Mass.) and sophomore
Shelby Kantor (East Burke, Vt.) also recorded their first collegiate tallies.
The Chargers also received goals from junior

Molly MacLure (Westford, Mass.), sophomore
Maddie Chamard (Portsmouth, R.I.) and sophomore
Natalie Ellard (Rockland, Mass.).
Sophomore
Oona Bond (Southborough, Mass.) made three saves to earn the shutout for Colby-Sawyer.
Junior Johanna Sargent (West Brookfield, Vt.) made several spectacular saves and finished with 16 for Lyndon.
