COLCHESTER, Vt. - November 8, 2014 - The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Saint Michael's 175-100 on Saturday afternoon. 

RESULTS

The Chargers were led by Brett Cayer who took first in the 100 freestyle in a time of 52.65 beating the second place finisher by more than two seconds. Cayer added a second place finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.74. 

Mason Amitrano picked up a win in the 100 backstroke edging a Saint Michael's swimmer by .10 seconds. 

Devin Uhlman turned in another solid meet. He won the 500 freestyle by 15 seconds in a time of 5:28.25 and finished second in the 1000 freestyle (11:24.54). Uhlman also took top honors in the 200 IM. 

Justin Banos came away with three second place finishes in the 50 breaststroke (31.51), 50 butterfly (28.97), and 100 breaststroke (1:10.15). 

Josh Paszczuk was second in the 50 backstroke at 28.12.

The Chargers will return to the pool next Saturday at Elms College.
