CHICOPEE, Mass. - November 15, 2014 - The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team competed at Elms College on Saturday. The Chargers fell to the Blazers 126-116 in the dual meet.

Chris Gallo, senior
Justin Banos and sophomore
Brett Cayer. Gallo paced the Chargers with a first place finish in the 50 backstroke (33.85) and earned a second place finish in the 400 freestyle (4:59.74). The first-year swimmer helped the 200 freestyle relay team to a first place finish (1:47.46) and also anchored the 200 medley relay team to a second place finish (2:15.53).
Senior
Justin Banos placed first in the 50 breaststroke (34.42), placed second in the 50 butterfly (31.59) and was a member of the first place 200 freestyle relay team (1:47.46).
Sophomore
Brett Cayer and freshman
Mason Amitrano were the other two members of the first place 200 freestyle relay team. Cayer also added three second place finishes including the 200 freestyle (2:11.03), the 50 freestyle (26.36) and the 100 breaststroke (1:19.10). Amitrano earned a first place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:08.48) and placed second in the 50 breaststroke (34.66).
Junior
Devin Uhlman placed first in the 800 freestyle (9:49.93) and earned a second place finish in the 100 butterfly (1:09.11).
The Chargers will return to the pool on Friday, November 21 for a two-day meet at SUNY Potsdam.
