NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 25, 2014 – The Colby-Sawyer College men's swimming and diving team fell to Norwich 210-75 on Saturday at the Knight Natatorium.
RESULTSBrett Cayer picked up the Chargers' lone victory of the day. He won the 50 freestyle in a time of 23.14. He added a second place in the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.56.
Freshman
Mason Amitrano turned in a solid time in the 50 backstroke. He touched the wall at 27.89 to finish in second place by .39 seconds. Amitrano also placed second in the 100 backstroke in a time of 58.43.
Senior
Justin Banos also had a pair of second place finishes this afternoon. He clocked in at 29.88 in the 50 breaststroke and 1:07.45 in the 100 breaststroke.
Devin Uhlman came away with two second place finishes as well. He was close to the first place finisher in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:31.16 and touched the wall .55 seconds behind first place in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:32.60.
The Chargers will compete next at Saint Michael's on November 8 at 1:00 p.m.
