NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 11, 2014 – The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team received goals from four different players in Saturday's 4-0 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) victory over Maine Maritime at Kelsey Field.
Colby-Sawyer improves to 6-5-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play. The Chargers travel to Green Mountain on Tuesday. Maine Maritime drops to 3-9 overall and 1-5 in the NAC. The Mariners travel to Thomas next Saturday.
The match was scoreless for the first 33 minutes before Colby-Sawyer scored twice in a span of 22 seconds. Sophomore
Rachel Quaye (Westminster, Mass.) put back a second attempt after her first was saved by Mariner keeper Kelsie Hilton (Monmouth, Maine) for her third goal of the season.

Corrie Hoyt (Lebanon, Conn.) gave the Chargers a 2-0 lead after receiving a through ball from sophomore
Lizzie Jorgensen (Manchester, Vt.).
Senior
Michelle Upham (Chelsea, Vt.) notched her first goal of the season in the 55th minute. Sophomore
Kelsey Campbell (Upton, Mass.) sent a cross into the six-yard box where Upham used her head to score past the keeper.
Campbell added an insurance goal 10 minutes later when she was able to put her foot on the ball in traffic in front of the net.
Hilton made five saves in the first 45 minutes, while Lauren McKenna (Wilmington, Mass.) played the final 45 minutes and also had five stops. Colby-Sawyer keeper
