Women's Volleyball Falls to Bowdoin; Defeats New Brunswick

Box Score 1 BRUNSWICK, Maine - September 28, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team fell to Bowdoin, 3-0 on the second day of the Midcoast Classic. Earlier in the afternoon, the Chargers earned a 3-2 exhibition win over the University of New Brunswick.

Colby-Sawyer struggled to find an offensive flow against the Polar Bears in the Chargers' second match of the day. 

The Chargers hit just .075 for the match and was up against a defense that combined for 12 total blocks. 

Emilee McBride led the team with five kills, while Courtney O'Hara, Stephanie Vecchio, and Jackie Keating had four kills apiece. 

Ally Le-Bruno led the team with nine digs and a pair of service aces. 

The Chargers defeated the University of New Brunswick by scores of 13-25, 25-15, 25-15, 19-25, 15-9.
