NEW LONDON, N.H. - February 22, 2013 - The Northeast Sports Network (NSN) has agreed to cover Friday's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women's basketball semifinal game between second seed Colby-Sawyer and third seed New England College. The game tips off at 8:00 pm on the campus of Castleton.

Friday's matchup between the Chargers and Pilgrims will be the third of the season. Colby-Sawyer has won both previous meetings. The Chargers came away with a 68-52 win in Henniker on January 19 behind 50% shooting from the floor.
Taylor DeSanty led the team with a game-high 21 points. NEC received 10 points from Shauntaye Pumphret, Markey Flewelling, and Katarina Muska.
Colby-Sawyer then won 67-44 at home just 10 days later. The Chargers held the Pilgrims to 23.2% shooting and held a 34-18 edge in paint scoring. DeSanty had a team best 18 points, while
Sammi Lehr and
Cailin Bullett had 11 and 10 points, respectively. Kate Levy led NEC with 18 points as the only Pilgrim in double-figures.
Colby-Sawyer advanced to this year's semifinals after cruising past seventh seed Lyndon, 71-46. New England College escaped with a 55-50 win over sixth seed Husson.
Ashley Fruzzetti led the Chargers with 12 points in their win, while Kayla Lawlor poured in 20 points in NEC's victory.
The winner of Friday's contest will play for the NAC title on Saturday at 2:00 pm against the winner of top seed Castleton versus fifth seed Maine-Farmington.
