NEW LONDON, N.H. - November 9, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving competed at home for the first time this season on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers fell to Saint Michael's College 170-124.
RESULTS
Colby-Sawyer was led by a three-win performance from
Krystyna Estrada. The highlight of her three victories was setting a pool record time of 25.04 in the 50 freestyle. Estrada also took top honors in the 200 freestyle (2:03.91) and the 200 IM (2:24.86).
Samantha Dalphond earned first place points in the one meter dive events. She recorded a combined total of 363.50.
Hannah Willcutt had strong swims in the 1000 freestyle (2nd, 12:47.81), 50 backstroke (3rd, 32.50)
Elaine Miller finished second in the 200 freestyle behind teammate Estrada. Miller touched the wall at 2:09.62. She added two more second place finishes in the 100 freestyle (57.71) and 500 freestyle (5:59.26).
Erin Dunican (34.43, breaststroke) and
Emma Nagle (1:04.74 butterfly) added a second place finish to their afternoon. Nagle also finished second in the 50 butterfly at 28.99.
The Chargers will host Elms and Plymouth next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
