Men's Swimming and Diving Hosts Saint Michael's

NEW LONDON, N.H. - November 9, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team fell to Saint Michael's 168-129 in the first home meet of the season. 

RESULTS

The Chargers took the top spot in the 200 freestyle relay in a time of 1:36.86. Kyle Harris, Josh Paszczuk, Keenan Bartlett, and Brett Cayer each swam a strong leg of the race to come away with the win. Cayer had the fastest split of all swimmers in the race at 23.34. Paszczuk was close behind with an impressive 23.85 split. 

Josh Paszczuk picked up a win in the 50 backstroke. He touched the wall at 27.57. Paszczuk added a second place in the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:01.97, which was only .34 behind the winner. 

Cayer added a pair of victories in the 50 freestyle (23.94) and the 100 freestyle (52.80). 

Eric Foulds scored 122.85 points after five one meter dives and was in second place. He came back with six strong dives and scored 182.55 to take first place with a combined total of 305.40.

Justin Banos also added a victory for the Chargers. He took the top spot in the 50 breaststroke at 30.50. Banos collected a second place finish in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:07.83 and was less than a half second behind first. 

The Chargers return to the Knight Natatorium next Saturday to host Elms at 1:00 p.m.
