NEW LONDON, N.H. - November 16, 2013 - Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving used a strong team effort to edge Elms College, 148-143 on Saturday afternoon.
RESULTS
The team began the afternoon by winning the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:51.15. The team was comprised of
Jameson Ploch,
Justin Banos,
Devin Uhlman and
Brett Cayer.
Josh Paszczuk took top honors in the 50 backstroke at 27.62. He added a second place finish in the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:02.15.
Brett Cayer continued to have strong swims and won the 100 freestyle in 52.99.
Keenan Bartlett took second place in the 100 IM in a time of 1:01.68.
Despite not getting many individual wins on the afternoon, the depth of the team proved to be important as the Chargers racked up enough points to pull out the victory.
The Chargers travel to SUNY Potsdam for a two-day meet on November 22-23.
