NORWICH, Vt. - October 26, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Norwich 188-106 on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers are off from competition next week and will return to the pool on November 9 to host Saint Michael's.
RESULTS
Senior diver
Eric Foulds highlighted the men's team performances on Saturday. Foulds won both 1 meter dive events in convincing fashion. He scored 117.95 points en route to a victory in the meet's first event and followed with 171.70 points in the second.
Freshman
Brett Cayer came away with a victory in the 50 freestyle in a time of 24:08.
Josh Paszczuk earned a second place in the 50 backstroke at 27.79 touching the wall just .26 seconds after the winner.
Justin Banos picked up two second place finishes in breaststroke events. In the 50, he finished .42 second behind the top spot at 30.83. In the 100, Banos clocked in at 1:09.59, which was .13 off the pace setter.
The 400 freestyle relay team comprised of
Kyle Harris,
Devin Uhlman,
Josh Paszczuk and
Brett Cayer ended the afternoon by winning the event in a time of 3:35.18.
