Box Score 2 CASTLETON, Vt. - October 20, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team picked up a pair of North Atlantic Conference (NAC) wins on Sunday. The Chargers defeated Green Mountain 3-0 and Castleton 3-0.
Colby-Sawyer improves to 17-8 overall and 4-0 in the conference. The Chargers host Keene on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.

The Chargers cruised to the 3-0 victory against the Eagles by hitting an impressive .391 for the match.
Emilee McBride led the team with nine kills on 12 attempts, while
Jackie Keating added eight kills on 12 attempts.
Leah Drolet contributed four kills on four attempts in one set of action.
Sarah Hannon recorded seven service aces in the match.
Laura Smolinski collected 32 assists, while
Ally Le-Bruno had a match best 10 digs.
COLBY-SAWYER 3, CASTLETON 0 - 25-16, 25-7, 25-11 - BOX SCORE
Colby-Sawyer continued its dominance at the net with 39 kills and 13 blocks in the 3-0 win over Castleton.
Emilee McBride hit .550 with 14 kills to give her 23 for the day. She added six total blocks.
The Spartans put up a fight in the opening set, making it a one-point contest, 8-7, through the first 15 points. However, the Chargers slowly pulled away and finished with the 25-16 victory. Castleton's offense struggled in the second set as the team fell 25-7. Colby-Sawyer took the final set by a 25-11 margin to earn the win.
Ally LeBruno finished with a team-high 11 digs while
Laura Smolinski led the offense with 33 assists.
Castleton recorded just seven kills in the contest, with three coming from Cassidy Tedeschi. The freshman also added four digs and an ace. Kristi Lawless led the defense with eight digs while Michaela chipped in with five digs and three assists.
