Box Score 2 BOSTON, Mass. - October 13, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team split another pair of games on the final day at the Beacons Invitational on Sunday hosted by UMass Boston.
The Chargers fell to Haverford 3-1, but rebounded with a strong 3-0 win over tournament host Umass Boston.

The Chargers took the first set, but then fell in the next three to drop to 14-8.
Stephanie Vecchio exploded for 17 kills on .306 hitting to lead the Chargers attack.
Jackie Keating also reached double figures with 11 kills.
Laura Smolinski recorded a double-double with a match best 43 assists and 10 digs.
Ally Le-Bruno collected a match-high 26 digs, while
Sarah Hannon added 10 digs.

The Chargers improved to 15-8 on the season with a 3-0 sweep over the Beacons.
Colby-Sawyer was led by an 11-kill, four block performance from senior
Emilee McBride. She hit an impressive .562.
Gabrielle Rodriguez added six kills and three digs in the win.
Ally Le-Bruno (17),
Jackie Keating (13) and
Julia Yee (11) led the defense in digs.
The Chargers will resume North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play next Sunday with matches against Castleton and Green Mountain. The tri-match will be played at Castleton.
