NEW LONDON, N.H. - January 26, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer College men's swimming and diving team earned a 167-91 win over the University of New England Saturday afternoon at the Knight Natorium.

The Chargers posted nine first place finishes on the day en route to the167-91 victory.
Colby-Sawyer was led by junior
Eric Foulds. Foulds earned first place finishes in the 50 yard backstroke (31.68s), the 1 meter dive (221.0 points) and the 3 meter dive (170.95 points). With his dives, Foulds has now qualified for the 1 meter diving at the NEISDA Championships. The 1 meter score was a new pool record.
Senior
Jimmy Montanari tabbed a pair of individual first place finishes. Montanari won the 200 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle in 2:00.14 and 53.74 respectively.
Junior
Keenan Bartlett placed first in the 400 yard IM. Bartlett finished in a time of 4:55.49.
Sophomore
Justin Banos earned a first place finished in the 50 yard breaststroke. He finished in a time of 30.68.
Banos, Bartlett and Montanari also helped the 200 yard freestyle relay team to a first place finish. The team finished in 1:37.49. Sophomore
Kyle Harris was the fourth member of the relay team.
Devin Uhlman placed first in the 500 yard freestyle. Uhlman finished in a time of 5:38.11.
The Chargers return to the pool Saturday February 2 at 1:00pm when they host the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth.
