BOSTON, Mass. - September 11, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball lost to UMass Boston, 3-0 on Tuesday evening. The Chargers drop to 2-5, while the Beacons improve to 5-4.
UMass Boston won by scores of 25-14, 25-8, and 25-16.
Junior
Courtney O'Hara (Mystic, Conn.) led the Chargers with six kills and chipped in seven digs. Freshman setter
Laura Smolinski (Hebron, Conn.) had 17 assists and five digs. Junior
Ally Le-Bruno (Medfield, Mass.) led the team with eight digs.
Shannon Thompson led all players with 16 kills and hit .593 for the Beacons.
Colby-Sawyer will play Brandeis and Emmanuel on Saturday at Brandeis.
