COLCHESTER, Vt. - November 3, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team was defeated by Saint Michael's 152-142 on Saturday afternoon.

The Chargres received several great swims on the afternoon in almost knocking off the Purple Knights.
Samantha Dalphond got her second ECAC cut to qualify for the championships at the end of the season, as she took the top spot in both one meter dives on Saturday. She scored 150.36 and 223.80 as the top diver. The combined point total of 374.10 is a new school record.
Elaine Miller won the 200 freestyle at 2:07.13. She also took top honors in the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:53.73.
Krystyna Estrada nearly reached a new record time in the 50 freestyle, but won the event in 25.72. Estrada then won the 100 freestyle in 57.27. Estrada capped her day off with a team best third victory aftery winning the 100 IM in 1:07.96.
The Chargers will host Norwich on Saturday, November 10 at 1:00 pm.
