NEW LONDON, N.H. - November 10, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer swimming and diving team had a winner in each event in Saturday's 173-45 victory over Norwich. The team will return to the pool next Saturday at Elms.

In each of the day's 16 events, a member of the Colby-Sawyer swimming and diving team took the top spot.
Leading the way was senior
Emily Olson. She won several events including the 1000 freestyle (
12:23.90), the 500 freestlye (6:06.37), and was a member of the 200 freestyle relay team comprised of Erin Dunican, Elaine Miller and Krystyna Estrada who took top honors by 20 seconds.
Junior
Ari Marks also recorded a pair of victories on Saturday. She won the 200 butterfly in a time of
2:39.03 and followed with a time of 5:44.37 en route to winning the 400IM.
Jen Gavell also won a pair of events. She beat the nearest competitor by 15 seconds in the 100 freestlye as she finished in
59.84. She also won the 100 butterfly in a time of
1:14.38.
Other winners included Miller (200 freestyle, 50 freestyle), Dunican (100 backstroke, 200 breaststroke), Estrada (100 breaststroke), Samantha Dalphond (1 meter diving), and Adrian Copeland (200 backstroke).
