SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - October 6, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer volleyball team split a pair of matches on Saturday at the Springfield College Tournament.

The Chargers began the day with a 3-2 victory over Montclair State by scores of 17-25, 25-22, 13-25, 25-15 and 15-13. Junior
Courtney O'Hara led the team with 21 kills. Junior
Ally Le-Bruno collected 23 digs, while junior
Julia Yee added 11 digs. Freshman setter Laura Smolinksi tallied a double-double of 46 assists and 17 digs.
Colby-Sawyer ended the day with a 3-1 loss to SUNY New Paltz with scores of 21-25, 25-10, 25-19 and 25-18. O'Hara had eight kills. Le-Bruno registered 21 digs and Smolinski recorded 26 assists.
Le-Bruno was named to the All-Tournament team.
The Chargers travel to Bowdoin next Friday.
