SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - October 5, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer College women's volleyball team was defeated by Springfield College, 3-0 on Friday evening. The Chargers will play Montclair State tomorrow morning at 10:00 am on day two of the Springfield Invitational.
The Pride (15-3) won by scores of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-12. Colby-Sawyer drops to 8-11 on the season.
Courtney O'Hara had a team best eight kills, while
Emilee McBride and
Jackie Keating each added seven.
Ally Le-Bruno collected a match-high 22 digs.
Stephanie Vecchio hit .500 en route to five kills.
Laura Smolinski tallied a match best 27 assists and added eight digs.
