BRUNSWICK, Maine - October 12, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer College women's volleyball team fell at Bowdoin, 3-0 in a nonconference match on Friday evening.

The Chargers dip to 9-13 and play two important North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matches tomorrow. Colby-Sawyer will play Husson at 10:00 am followed by Maine Maritime at 2:00 pm. Both matches will be played at Husson.
The 25th-ranked Polar Bears won by scores of 25-16, 25-13 and 25-14.
Haskell led the Polar Bear attack with nine kills and nine digs while Christy Jewett tagged eight kills without an error. The Polar Bears had 18 total blocks in the contest, led by seven block assists from Edelman. Cederna had seven kills and eight digs while Sophia Cornew had 28 assists and 11 digs.
Jackie Keating led Colby-Sawyer with eight digs while
Laura Smolinski had 15 assists and
Ally Le-Bruno earned 13 digs.
