BIDDEFORD, Maine - January 28, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer College women's swimming and diving team competed at the University of New England on Saturday. The Nor'Easters bested the Chargers 147-113.
COMPLETE RESULTS
Colby-Sawyer was led by freshman
Krystyna Estrada. Estrada earned first place finishes in the 50 and 100 yard freestyles. She was also the anchor in the first place 200 yard relay team consisting of
Erin Dunican,
Lanie White and
Jen Gavell.
Junior captain
Emily Olson had several strong performances including first place finishes in the 500 and 1000 yard freestyles.
The Chargers' 200 yard medley relay team also earned a first place finish. The team consisted of
Adrian Copeland,
Erin Dunican,
Hannah Fairbank and
Kat Donohue.
The swimming and diving team will return to the pool on Saturday February 4, 2012 when they travel to UMass Dartmouth. Events will begin at 1:00pm.
