Volleyball Swept by Bowdoin, 3-0

BRUNSWICK, Maine - September 23, 2011 - The Colby-Sawyer volleyball team began play at the Midcoast Volleyball Classic with a 3-0 loss to tournament host Bowdoin. The Polar Bears won by scores of 25-19, 25-19, and 25-20.

The Chargers fall to 6-8 on the season and will play Rivier at 11:00 am tomorrow morning in day two of the Midcoast Classic. Bowdoin improved to 8-1.

Courtney O'Hara led the team with nine kills and six digs. Ally Le-Bruno collected 19 digs, while Kristin Sawyer had 15 assists.
