FARMINGTON, Maine - October 8, 2011 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team pushed its North Atlantic Conference (NAC) record to 5-0 after a 3-2 win over Maine Maritime and a 3-0 win over Husson on Saturday afternoon.
The Chargers defeated previously unbeaten Maine Maritime 3-2 by scores of 23-25, 25-23, 26-28, 27-25, and 15-8. Colby-Sawyer then swept Husson 3-0 by scores of 25-23, 25-15, and 25-19.
Colby-Sawyer evens its overall record to 12-12 and now sits atop the NAC standings alone at 5-0. Maine Maritime falls to 14-3 overall and 2-1 in the NAC. Husson drops to 14-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Emilee McBride led the Chargers' offensive attack against Maine Maritime with 19 kills. She hit a match-high .417.
Courtney O'Hara contributed a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs.
Kristin Sawyer had a match best 52 assists.
Ally Le-Bruno registered a match-high 34 digs.
McBride continued her effecient hitting against Husson, as she posted a match-high 13 kills and hit .579.
Courtney O'Hara added 11 kills.
Sarah Hannon tallied eight assists and 10 digs.
Jackie Keating hit .294 with seven kills.
The Chargers return to the court at Tufts on Wednesday.
