NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 1, 2011 – Colby-Sawyer College hosted a women's volleyball quad match on Saturday that featured Johnson State, Lyndon, the University of Maine at Farmington and the host Chargers of Colby-Sawyer.
Colby-Sawyer won both of its matches and improves to 10-11 overall and 3-0 in the NAC. UMF also earned a pair of victories and moves to 5-7 overall and 2-1 in conference play. Johnson State dropped both of its games and falls to 2-9 overall and 0-2 in the NAC. Lyndon also fell twice and drops to 1-9 overall and 0-2 in conference action.

Courtney O'Hara (Mystic, Conn.) recorded a match-high 13 kills and hit .321. Sophomore
Emilee McBride (Strafford, N.H.) added nine kills and three blocks. Freshman
Jackie Keating (Marshfield, Mass.) hit .467 and had eight kills. Sophomore
Ally Le-Bruno (Medfield, Mass.) tallied five aces and 10 digs.
Lyndon was led by sophomore Morgan Diltz (Moultonboro, N.H.). She hit .294 and had six kills. Junior Maegan Fried (Great Falls, Mont.) registered a match best 14 digs.

Stephanie Vecchio (Shelter Island, N.Y.) led all players with 11 kills and hit .400. Freshman
Sarah Hannon (Pocasset, Mass.) had a match-high 15 assists and 10 digs in the win. Sophomore
Emilee McBride (Strafford, N.H.) hit .667 and had seven kills. Sophomore
Lindsey Raumikaitis (Danville, N.H.) chipped in three kills.
Junior Kylie VanEtten (Montrose, Pa.) led Johnson State with eight digs.
The Chargers return to the court on Tuesday at former TCCC rival Endicott.
