Chargers receive a 7 – 0 score for the scheduled match with Green Mountain College.  Green Mountain RFC chose to forfeit their season just prior to the match.

 

Not to fear, the ALUMNI are here.  Braving the downpour and muddy conditions, Chargers Rugby alumni from 2001 - 2011, back to celebrate Fall Festival Reunion, dusted off their boots and pulled on their trusted jerseys to face the current squad.  The young Chargers Men gave the seasoned veterans of Old Blue a little too much respect in the first half and saw themselves behind 15 – 10 at the break.  Even though the alumni retained most of the possession in the second half as well, youth and fitness proved all that was needed for the young guns to produce high turnover ball at the tackle and move past the dashingly handsome alumni squad to finish the match ahead.  Final score,

19 – 15.
