Women's Tennis Wins Third Straight in 6-3 Win over Gordon

NEW LONDON, N.H. - September 21, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team earned a 6-3 victory over the visiting Fighting Scots of Gordon on Tuesday afternoon. The Chargers improve to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in TCCC play. Gordon falls to 2-6 overall and 2-4 in the conference.

Highlighting the victory for the Chargers was the great play by senior Carolyn Drake. She won at No. 4 singles in straight sets and dropped just three games. Drake and teammate Stephanie Carlsson also picked up a point at No. 2 doubles with an 8-4 win.
