Women's Tennis Defeats Castleton, 8-1

NEW LONDON, N.H. - April 23, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team defeated Castleton, 8-1 in their final match of preparation prior to the NCAA tournament. The Chargers are now 17-5, while the Spartans dip to 13-3.

Colby-Sawyer will await NCAA tournament seeding and will compete on May 14. Castleton, the North Atlantic Conference champion, will play the winner of the Northeastern Athletic Conference for a berth to the NCAA's.
