BRISTOL, R.I. - October 9, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team fell to the Hawks of Roger Williams, 8-1 on Saturday afternoon. The match was each team's TCCC regular season finale.
Colby-Sawyer drops to 8-4 overall and 7-4 in conference action. The team will play a non-conference match at Southern Maine tomorrow before beginning the TCCC playoffs next week. First serve is set for noon.
The Chargers finish the season in fifth place in the conference standings, which means they will travel to the fourth place finisher, Endicott, on Tuesday for an opening round playoff tilt.
