WESTON, Mass. - October 30, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team picked up a pair of TCCC victories on Saturday against Regis and Wentworth. The Chargers swept both teams, 3-0 and finish the regular season with an 18-13 overall record and an 8-2 mark in conference play, which earns them the third seed in the TCCC tournament.

The Chargers began the day with a 3-0 sweep of Wentworth by the scores of
25-13, 25-12, and 25-15. The win clinched the third seed in the TCCC tournament for the second straight year.
Senior Michelle Doody led the charge with 13 kills, three aces and a pair of blocks. Freshmen Ally Le-Bruno had a 13 digs and middle blockers Stef Turner and Emilee McBride each had four block solos in the win.

Doody again led the Chargers against the Pride with a match-high 16 kills and added 10 digs. Doody, who broke the school's all-time career records for kills, attempts and points earlier in the season, broke all three of the single season records today.
Turner hit .400 and tallied 11 kills while Le-Bruno led all players with 24 digs.
Colby-Sawyer earns the third seed in the TCCC tournament and will host the sixth seed Salve Regina Seahawks Tuesday at 7:00pm.
