Men beat Nichols (5 – 0 and #1 in their conference and #3 post-season seed) 39 - 25 down in Dudley, MA on Sunday night. Chargers started the match very strong and put the Bison on their heels for the first 15 minutes of play. Things settled in and it became a very back and forth scoring affair for the rest of the night. Colby-Sawyer never fell behind and never let up. The men did a great job of adjusting their play and modifying their offensive attack to keep Nichols guessing. Excellent on-field leadership from Wyatt Reser, Peter Edson and Sam Dionne. Mike Bennett (aka Neo), Cody Houston, Shea Shaughnessy, Alex Merrill and Mike Quinn put in a tremendous amount of work to keep the tight 5 rolling forward through the entire match. With 4 minutes left on the clock, Junior Chris Thompson made a spectacular run against the grain of the defense to put the ball down nearly dead-center and allow Peter Edson one more conversion kick to seal the victory.
