WATERVILLE, Maine - October 16, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team won both ends of a tri-match at Colby College on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers defeated Maine Maritime, 3-1 and the host, Colby, 3-0.

In the 3-0 sweep of Colby, the Chargers were led by 16 kills from
Michelle Doody.
Emilee McBride contributed 7 kills and hit for a match high .750. Colby Sawyer won by scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.
BOX SCORE vs. Maine Maritime
Doody and McBride highlighted the team's 3-1 (25-27, 25-17, 25-19, 25-18) win over Maine Maritime.Doody had a match-high 24 kills and 20 digs, while McBride added 7 kills and 8 blocks.
Ally Le-Bruno led the defense with 32 digs, while
Julia Yee added a career high 18 digs.
Kristin Sawyer tallied 39 assists in the win.
The Chargers resume TCCC action on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm with a home contest against Western New England College. This game will be Colby-Sawyer's senior night.
