BIDDEFORD, Maine - January 30, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team fell to the University of New England, 143-118 on Saturday afternoon.
Seniors
Stephanie Smith and
Danielle Bowen won two events apiece for the Chargers. Smith won the 50 (31.01) and 100-yard fly (1:10.74) and Bowen the 50-yard backstroke (31.21) and 100-yard individual medley (1:08.21).
Krisi Loh earned a victory in the in the 200-yard freestyle touching the wall at 2:09.87.
Emily Olson clocked in at 1:19.13 to win the 100-yard breaststroke.
The team returns to the pool next Saturday at UMass Dartmouth. First race begins at 1:00 p.m.
