Volleyball Swept by Middlebury, 3-0

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - September 29, 2009 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team was swept by Middlebury, 3-0 by scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-20. The Chargers drop to 9-4, while the Panthers improve to 8-2.

Junior Michelle Doody led the Chargers with 11 kills. Senior Megan White added eight kills and nine digs. Junior Stef Turner recorded five kills and a team-high six total blocks.

The Chargers resume TCCC play on Wednesday with a home match against Anna Maria beginning at 7:00 pm.
