Men's Rugby drops opener to Merrimack College

The Colby-Sawyer College Men's Rugby team kept it a fully contested match for the 80 minutes on Saturday at Merrimack College in Andover, Mass. Scoring by Merrimack College was scattered over both halves with Colby-Sawyer College putting much pressure inside the Merrimack half of the field for a solid 20 minutes prior to the break. The Chargers kept the momentum after half-time and scored on a well placed kick into space which was picked up with Richard Brassor who motored in for the try. Conversion and penalty later on kicked by Peter Edson.

The Chargers look to build on this game as they host Southern Vermont College next Sunday at 1:00 pm.
