PLYMOUTH, N.H. - November 22, 2009 - The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team was defeated by Plymouth State, 131-105 on Sunday afternoon. The Chargers will return to action on December 4-5 at the TCCC Invitational.
Senior
Danielle Bowen led the Chargers with a victory in the 50-yard backstroke in 31.12 seconds. She also placed second in the 100 breaststroke and third in the 200 IM.
Freshman
Hannah Fairbank placed second in the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:11.58. Freshman
Gabrielle Velez earned two second place finishes in the 50 breaststroke and 50 freestyle events.
