The Chargers were defeated 3-1 by Western New England in a non-conference match-up by scores of 25-22, 17-25, 25-17, 25-23. Senior
Megan White led the team with a career high 21 kills. Sophomore
Kristin Sawyer added 14 kills, senior
Genny Moore dished out 43 assists and senior
Shelagh Costello led the team with 22 digs.
Colby-Sawyer then fell to Plymouth State, for the second time this season, by scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-12. Sophomore
Kristin Sawyer led the team with nine kills and nine digs.
Senior
Megan White (Monroe, Conn.) was named to her first All-Tournament team for her efforts and surpassed the 1,000 Career Dig mark versus Plymouth State. White is only the seventh Charger to reach the 1,000 dig milestone.
The team will host Eastern Nazarene on Wednesday, during the Dig Pink (Breast Cancer Awarenss) event. Proceeds go to benefit the Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
