Women's cross country senior Emily Lopez (Lincolnville, Maine) set a new 5k program record at Saturday's UMass Dartmouth Invitational to help lead the team to finish 10th as a team out of 37 competing institutions. Lopez, who set the previous school record of 19:19.72 at UMass Dartmouth last year, improved her time to 19:11.07 and placed 27th out of 275 runners.
