Biography

As a sophomore: Jang earned All-NEISDA honors in the 50 butterfly and 50 backstroke for the second year in a row. Jang set a school record in the 50 butterfly with a time of 26.98 at NEISDA's. She also earned All-GNAC honors in the 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke and 50 freestyle. Jang racked up 53 points to lead all competitors on the final day of the GNAC Championship and finished the meet 15th in scoring to top the Chargers. Jang earned one GNAC Swimmer of the Week award. She also was named to the All-GNAC Sportsmanship Team. 

As a freshman: Jang earned a pair of All-NEISDA honors in the 50 butterfly and 50 backstroke. At the NEISDA Championships, Jang set a school record in the 100 butterfly (1:02.48). At the GNAC Championship, Jang set a school record in the 50 butterfly with a time of 27.34. She placed second in the race.  

At Durfee: Jang was on the varsity swimming team for the Hilltoppers. She also is a member of the National Honor Society.
