2022: Hanson had her best 6k performance during the 2022 season on October 1st at the Williams College Purple Valley Classic. She crossed the finish line with a time of 27:35.1 placing 85th overall in the race. Heather helped the women's team secure their second GNAC Championship title with her 12th place finish and also earned her seocnd GNAC Second Team All-Conference distinction with her performance at the championship. On November 12th at the NCAA Division III East Regionals, Hanson finished the race in 27:38.2 to help the Chargers finish 14th out of 35 teams. 

2021: Hanson competed in all six races for the Chargers in 2021. Heather ran her best 6K time on October 30th in the GNAC Cross Country Championships finishing in 9th place with a time of 25:32.9. Hanson was named to the All-GNAC Second Team for her top-10 finish. Hanson also finished 80th in the NCAA East Regionals on November 13th finishing with a time of 25:59.0.  Heather was also awarded the Chargie for Female Newcomer of the Year after a successful three-sport year for Colby-Sawyer. 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Barnstable High School and was a Cape and Island League Champion and MVP in lacrosse. Hanson was also a two-time all-star and team captain in lacrosse, cross country and track & field.
