Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: Urquhart raced twice during the season, but finished in the top-12 each time. On September 7, Urquhart placed ninth to help lead the Chargers to win the Castleton Invitational. Her other race was the NAC Championship. She was instrumental in helping the Chargers hoist the championship trophy as she finished in 12th place at 21:55. She was named to the All-NAC Second Team.

As a junior: Did not compete

As a sophomore: Emily had a solid first season with the Chargers. She recorded three top-4 perfmances, including a pair of runner-up finishes. Emily finished fourth at the NAC Championships in a time of 20:06 and earned All-NAC First Team honors. 

As a freshman: Emily spent the 2011 season as a runner for Gordon College. She was named MVP and Rookie of the Year.

At Hartford: Emily earned 10 varsity letters for the Hurricanes. She finished first for age group in the Covered Bridges Half Marathon for four straight years.

Personal: Daughter of Jim and Eileen. Has a sister named Katie. Emily is a Health Promotion major.
