Signe Linville '06 enters her third season (2016-17) as the Head Coach of the Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving programs.

Linville led the Chargers to another successful season that saw 15 members compete in 37 events at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships. One student-athlete also qualified to compete at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships hosted by the US Naval Academy. Three new men's records were set throughout the season.

Linville returned to her alma mater in the summer of 2014 as one of the most decorated and versatile student-athletes to ever hit the pool in Colby-Sawyer history. She still holds five individual school records and is a member of the record holding 400 medley relay team. Linville was inducted into the Colby-Sawyer Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011.

Linville received a BS in Exercise and Sport Sciences from Colby-Sawyer in 2006. A native of Emmaus, Pa., Linville has been close to Colby-Sawyer for the past several years. She joins the Chargers family after nearly a year as the swim coach for all ages and Assistant Manager at the Executive Health and Sport Center in Manchester, N.H. Linville was previously the Assistant Aquatics Director and Head Age Group Coach at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center in nearby White River Junction, Vt. from 2008 to 2013. In addition to her coaching duties, she will take on an aquatics coordinator role at the Knight Natatorium in the Hogan Sports Center.

Linville is a Level 1 and Level 2 Certified U.S. Swim Coach by the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA).Â
