2022-23 Accolades: Gushee had five top-three finishes for the Chargers in 2022-23. Jesse had three medals in the GNAC Outdoor Championships picking up two golds and a silver. Gushee came in second in the 800 meter at a time of 2:07.09, before placing in first in the 5k at a time of 17:14.33 and as part of the 4x800 meter relay at a time of 8:33.15.

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Oyster River High School, where Gushee was the captain of the soccer team.
