Summary

Biography

As a senior: Mikkila represented the Chargers on the NAC Sportsmanship Team. She appeared in 11 games and scored one goal. The goal was one of the prettiest of the year as she sent an aerial that snuck under the crossbar to help the team to a 5-0 win over Rivier.

As a junior: Mikkila had her best offensive season with seven points on three goals and an assist in 12 appearances. She scored the game-winner in a 4-2 victory at New England College on September 24. In the following game, Mikkila tallied a goal and an assist in a win at Rivier. 

As a sophomore: Mikkila saw action in seven games in 2015. 

As a freshman: Mikkila scored a pair of goals in eight appearances in her first season with the Chargers. Both goals came in the teams win at Daniel Webster on September 23. 

At Oxford: Ashley played field hockey for the Pirates. She was team captain in her senior season and the seventh leading scorer in the SWCL. Ashley was a member of the 2011 SWCL championship team. She twice earned SWCL First Team accolades.
