Rapid Recap:
  • Maddy Minckler (Claremont, N.H.) would get the Chargers going early as she found the back of the net for the first time this season just five and a half minutes into the game. Senior captain Lauren Ardolino (Milford, Conn.) would pick up her first assist of the year on the Minckler goal to put the Chargers ahead 1-0.
  • The Chargers would add another goal just over a minute later, this time it was Ardolino finding the back of the net for the second time this season. Senior and fellow captain to Ardolino, Lauren McKee (Littleton, N.H.) would pick up her first assist of the season to bring the lead to 2-0.
  • Ardolino would find herself netting her third goal of the season in the 16th minute on a pass from Sophomore Eve Van Wickler (Sturbridge, Mass.) that would put the Chargers up 3-0 early. The back line for the Chargers would keep the Bulldogs at bay until the 35th minute when Dean was granted a penalty kick. Lila Maiato would net the goal for the Bulldogs, cutting their deficit to 3-1.
  • The Chargers would continue to keep Dean at just one goal for a majority of the second half while the offense produced more chances on their end with a couple shots and corner kicks. The Bulldogs would cut into the lead again in the 84th minute on a goal by Madison Arthur to make it 3-2. The defense would hold up and help the Chargers pull out a 3-2 win.
