New London, Conn. – The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team earned their second conference win on the year after traveling to Connecticut on Saturday. 

Rapid Recap: 

• Kate Vasconcelos (Woodsville, N.H.) and Lauren Ardolino (Milford, Conn.) had early shots for the Chargers in the first 10 minutes, as they were looking for a goal early on. 

• 3 minutes into the second half, Ellie Smith (Plymouth, Mass.) and Sydney Ledoux (Bolton, Conn.) both recorded shots as the Chargers kept looking to step into the lead. 

• With less than 2 minutes to go in the game Ledoux scored the winner, improving the Chargers GNAC record to 2-1-1. 

Inside the Numbers: 

• The Chargers recorded their third shutout of the season during the win on Saturday. 

• Ledoux's game winner is her third goal of the season. 

• The Chargers finish the week 2-0, having won both their games 1-0. 

Up Next: 

The Chargers have a quick turnaround as they will travel up north to play Vermont State University Castleton on Sunday for a 1pm kickoff.
