CHARGERS NEED ONE GOAL TO BEAT MASS. MARITIME

BUZZARDS BAY, MASS. - The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team headed to Massachusetts to take on Mass. Maritime for a non-conference match up on Wednesday evening. 

Rapid Recap:
  • The Chargers would have control in this game from start to finish, holding a strong defensive line while providing pressure on offense. The Chargers pressure would include 8 shots in the first half, landing 3 on target, to give Brady Deschamps a couple saves early on. 
  • The Chargers would hold Mass. Maritime to just four shots throughout the whole game while only allowing two on target. The Chargers would score the lone goal of the game in the 80th minute from Maddy Minckler (Claremont, N.H.). 
  • Three goal keepers would see time in net for the Chargers tonight on a quiet evening. Nicole Morello (Wilmington, Mass.) would get the start in net, playing 33:06. Lyndsey Valletta (Macedon, N.Y.) would see 29:54 minutes of action. Aurora Proulx (Sheldon, Vt.) would see the last 27:00 in net.
