CHARGERS CELEBRATE SENIORS FOR SENIOR DAY AGAINST BLAZERS

New London, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team earned a tie against Elms College and celebrated Senior Day on Saturday afternoon. 

Rapid Recap: 

  • The Chargers would start things off strong by taking two shots in the first five minutes. 

  • The pressure would continue from the Chargers as they entered the break having taken six shots. 

  • In the 61st minute, Ellie Smith (Plymouth, Mass.) would break the deadlock for the Chargers. Lauren McKee (Littleton, N.H.) assisted Smith on the game's opener. 

  • In the 86th minute, Emily Basua scored a penalty kick to tie the game up for Elms. 

Inside the Numbers: 

  • Smith scored her second career goal in the Chargers' effort. 

  • The Chargers took 11 shots in the conference matchup. 

Up Next: 

The Chargers continue their home stretch as they face Norwich on Wednesday for a 3pm kickoff.
